Barrett Naman
Partner
For more than two decades, Barrett Naman has represented individuals and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He understands that when someone comes to him for help, they are often facing far more than a legal problem. They may be dealing with a devastating diagnosis, the loss of someone they love, financial uncertainty, or a future that suddenly looks very different than they expected.

For Barrett, representing those clients is personal.

He believes every person deserves to be heard, treated with dignity, and given a voice for justice against the corporations and insurance companies he is often fighting. That belief has guided Barrett throughout his career and is at the heart of the way he practices law.
“When someone trusts me with their case, they’re trusting me with something that has deeply affected their life and their family. I never take that responsibility lightly. My job is to listen to their story, make sure their voice is heard, and fight for the justice and accountability they deserve.”
Barrett is a strong believer in the Seventh Amendment and the right to trial by jury. He has dedicated his practice to representing people harmed by negligence and corporate misconduct, particularly when companies put profits ahead of the health and safety of individuals and families.

Over the course of his career, Barrett has represented individuals and families through personal injury and asbestos-related lawsuits across the country. He has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements for his clients and has tried cases in jurisdictions throughout the United States.

But Barrett believes being a strong advocate means listening to clients, learning their stories, and understanding what they and their families have been through. It also means his clients understand what is happening every step of the legal process.
That approach has helped Barrett build lasting relationships with the people he represents. The trust and appreciation of his clients and their families remain among the accomplishments he values most.

Barrett's work has also earned the respect of attorneys throughout the legal community. Lawyers routinely refer clients and cases to him, including attorneys he has previously faced as opponents in the courtroom. He is also frequently asked to join other attorneys as trial counsel in complex cases.

Barrett has repeatedly been recognized as a Rising Star and a Super Lawyer. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice (AAJ).

Although he appreciates those professional honors, Barrett believes the greatest measure of his work is much simpler: whether his clients know that someone listened to them, stood beside them, and fought for them when they needed it most.

Barrett was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, and his Southeast Texas upbringing continues to influence the way he approaches his practice and his relationships with clients.

He attended Tulane University and The University of Texas at Austin before earning his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. While in law school, he was recognized and received awards for research and writing.

Barrett lives in Houston with his wife, daughter, and son.
